At 19:23 NL Time, a Soviet mining world on the edge of the Kiev system came under attack by unknown alien forces, believed to not be Scinfaxi in origin. They began firing some sort of plasma weaponry at the surface, causing minimal damage to the majority of the underground facilities. A Soviet patrol consisting of 3 Retivvy class warships were sent to investigate, and intercepted the unknown alien vessels just outside the planets outer markers.
A single transmission was received, “your destruction is the will of the gods and we are their instrument”. A KGB Officer on the bridge of the “Vladimir Komarov” informed the unidentified alien vessels that as a secular state, such comments were disrespectful. At this, the alien ships opened fire.
All alien forces were rapidly eliminated.

anyone else notice that both Dawn of Victory and Sins of the Prophets did april fools with each others stuff??...DoV used the covenant assault carriers and battlecruisers while SotP got the f16s jets :D...im sorry im probably the last to notice it haha xD
