Hi guys! Today I'll show you my mod for the darkness light in the game! Pay attention that this mod will override the default darkness light of the game, it will work even on regular custom stories, but it won't change any custom darkness light used in Full Conversion Mods!
- What are the changes?
Basically in most situations when the player gets in a dark area his sanity starts to get lower over time and a blue area creates all around the player to let him see even in the darkness(otherwise it's impossible for the player to see where he's going). By default the colour of this area is very blue(on RGB it's the equivalent of "41,41,82" to be precise) and its radius is a lot large(6.5 meters to be precise). With this mod installed the colour of the area is gonna change to a blue-gray colour(on RGB it's the equivalent of "19, 25, 32" to be precise) and its radius a lot smaller(3 meters to be precise). Also when an enemy is inside a dark area its body will start to glow by a blue colour if the player is close enough. By default the max distance between the enemy in the darkness and the player to make the enemy's body glow is 15 meters; if the distance is greater than that and the enemy is still inside a dark area the player isn't able to see it. With this mod installed the max distance is reduced from 15 meters to 8 meters so it will be more difficult to see an enemy inside a dark area(but it's more realistic/challenging).

To install it download the mod in the "Files" section; after the download is completed extract the archive inside your Amnesia folder.
If you have installed Amnesia using Steam, the Amnesia folder will probably be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Amnesia The Dark Descent
Otherwise the Amnesia folder should be:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Amnesia The Dark Descent\redist
