What about gates, can't have a good wall without a way to allow your troops to go in out of the base and at the same time, keep your enemies out.
that would be cool, but i think it would be quite hard on ra2, they did not have any animations like that, which i can remember (but then it has been like 5 years since the last time i completed red alert 2).
Vanilla RA2 had a working gate in the first Allied mission. Maybe even the second as well

Look at the X shaped building on the left. There is an Italian flag on it that confused me.
