If there's one thing people might not like though, it's the size in relation to other vehicles. I'm trying to keep it relative to the size of a tactical marine. So in order to have the crew and transported marines fit inside, with weapons, or look like they might believably fit the hatches, it's actually a massive vehicle.
Easily as big as a Baneblade. Which if you think about it isn't all that surprising. Seeing as I went with 7 feet 6 inches for the height of a marine.
Even if a marine was in the 6 foot range, the armour would still make it impossible to get them inside, if you use either the minis or the stated dimensions in official literature. I'm following the same rule I'm applying to all the vehicles Otherwise they become clown cars. :)
Actually I meant "get them inside something like a Rhino". The space marine clown car.
The Side Hatches are 7 feet tall (or they should be) so take your scale from that, that is what I did when I made it.
That is how I can get 12 Tac marines and or 6 Termies in cargo. (plus Driver and commander.)
That's what I did. They all fit in with a small amount of elbow room. :)
