Meet the Wormdemon!
In the new video - besides depicting a hungry wormdemon - I'll tried to showcase the gameplay difficulty change : from 'hard' to 'nightmare'.
There is a hand showing the current difficulty, at the end of each level. You can forget the whole thing and just play, but if you wanna see the 'whole' level, you shold try to activate all the difficulty level, because each of them will unlock new areas and monsters. So, this is something like finding all the secrets, but it will get harder as you'll progress.
The above shot showing the same area in, different difficulty modes.
New teaser posters
This one is for the game:
and this one is actually, will be the front page of the new Curse website :
Plus
The green smoke emitting stuffs are teleports to other areas/ levels :
Cheers!
Very nice stuff! I enjoy watching this mod, keep it up!
really good stuff, really a original mod.
Looks REALLY good.
This mod will ROCK!
awesome, simply freakin awesome!
I love the way you change the lighting and skybox for the different difficulty levels. It just looks so much more scary with the dark sky.
Excellent, your doing a great job. Perhaps you should think about looking into valve publishing your product. They've done it before.
Looking impressive as usual!
WOW, this is quickly becoming one of my most anticipated games, mod or otherwise.
Wormdemon rocks!
This is just awesome. Then I saw it raising from pile of worms I was like : "omg... is this a hollywood movie???"
Great work! Can't wait to see it myself and crap my pants. LOL
looks awesome:)
Impressive, especially with the Source engine!
This project NEEDS to become commercial. Like what NullSoldier said, this game is unique enough for valve to take an interest in. The look, the style, the gameplay. Everything is there to create something beautiful. A form of art one could say.
Keep up the good work.
it looks like ut2004 :)
This game, because of the Egyptian theme, really reminds me of serious sam. Regardless of which i really like what your doing. The wormdemon as i see it has the potential to become a gaming cult icon.
Its good to see a fresh perspective on modding in the gaming community. Also out of interest what programs do you use to model?
Blender : it can render normal maps etc., XSI Modtool - modeling animations, export stuff to source, Houdini apprentice HD - 2d fx, compositing (example: Curse logo animation in the videos)
Amazing stuff! My jaw dropped at the end! Great work!
WOW!
man this game looks freaking sweet!
such a cool video, very very polished, am watching the mod now.
Really professional, indeed. Cant wait to taste it myself.
But that hand still need a little animation, something to make it more organic, not just the side scrolling sway. Great work.
I saw an old video of yours before and I thought that this mod looks very polished and interesting, shame it didn't have any AI in the vid. I was looking now and had the same thought until the sky became dark :O. Awesome stuff guys! I'm sure this mod will be creepy as hell, can't wait for it.
Watching! Freaking amazing looking. I actually got shivers when the sky went red.
yeah, love the "meet the wormdemon-vid" as my name say's pleease
KEEP IT UP ^^ !!!
Excellent work guys... and yes, I would be talking to Valve about an Idie game deal... something like $9.95 would be a best seller with some Valve promotion....
That would be great for you but I just don't have a credit card... I got crazy just to buy OB and stuff so please, do it for free xD
Wow, I might just need to pick up Half Life 2 orange box for this, and zombie panic of course. I'm not familiar with how the source games are connected, but if I purchased Left 4 Dead, would I be able to play Half Life 2 orange box mods on it?
STUNNING!
Please animate the hand before release, just looks dumb with a static hand on your screen.
