I disagree, I think that these would be a great new NPC to fight. The model could use some work, but the concept is great!
That looks like an enemy that could scare the hell out of us when used accordingly :)
The Nightgaunts managed to scare me the first time i encountered them, in the Unspeakable mod. When they attacked from above and all you heard was a weird noise until they were in your face. This mod migjt manage to create a similar effect.
Kind of a big upgrade over the one we saw in the original hl cthulu mod. Heh I think its really dark, unusually so IMO, but with some texturing and perhaps leathery dark skin it would look great and scarier.
i thought the night gaunt was supposed to be a gman stalking you while he was wearing pajamas
