Like that you redefined the economy, but I hope it won't be as hardcore as misery is. :s
Not saying that it is bad, but it sort of scares me. :/

Hi, it won't be difficult like Misery, you definitely won't become rich selling a few things here and there. At some in the game you will either have to focus on looting or do some artefact hunting to get the money you need.

Description

The next alpha version is in the final stages of being released. We decided to hold back in order for major updates to the visuals, almost all common textures are at least 2k resolution including the foliage (CrommCruacs Absolute Nature 2 for CS). A lot of work has been done to ensure a consistent frame rate and address hitching issues.

The next alpha version will also come with a refined sweetFX filter based on CrommCruacs 'Cold' preset for Call of Pripyat. All the new screenshots have been taken with this filter applied. The preset introduces SMAA anti-aliasing, as the Vanilla CS MSAA is far too performance hungry. As well as lumaSharpen, desaturated colour and tweaked contrast curves.

Also with the help of Decane, the latest Sky Reclamation Project has been integrated. Offering superior stability to the vanilla game, a full list of fixes will be presented in the pdf write up I intend on doing.

I have spent much time working with the economy. In order to upgrade your gear you are going to need to stay in an area for a while and go on multiple raids, selling everything you can get your hands on. Artefacts also now re-spawn every 3 - 4 days. The goal of this was to encourage exploration and make the game more challenging. You will also be inclined to get good gear sorted before moving onto the harder levels.

Just so you all know, I am currently helping Kingfriday test SRAP:CS/CoP part 2 which when released will be integrated into the mod. We ask you to continue giving KingFriday your support, he has given a lot of his time perfecting animations and writing up the configs.

I can also confirm we believe we have fixed the broken icons on the Direct X9 renderer. However it is yet to be confirmed on different hardware setups. I intend to release a pdf write up with this version of the alpha giving a full feature outline and a few pointers/hints.

Stay tuned!
