I made this because the regular crysis AI just werent cutting it. They werent aggresive or smart or used cover right. My AI are different, they are way more aggresive, smart, and use cover more efficiently. They arent like the old Crysis AI where they stay back and fire off some rounds and run. No, mine will hunt you down and corner you until you are filled with lead. Dependin on their AI charcter class, they will do specific things that the other classes might not do. I basically edited and added new lua scripts for the Crysis AI lua and made them better. The AI will flank, fan out and supress you with lead. You cant stay at the same spot for to long or you will get cornered or have a grenade down your back. You also cant stay out in the open for to long either, unless you like lead. You now need to use your suit functions such as cloak and speed to get out of those situations, also the silencer is now a key attachment. If they cant see you, then they cant hit you. Adapt, Survive

But there is always someone, take the Advanced_AI folder and put it in the crysis/mods folder.
Then hopefully you have done shorcuts for mods before.
Right click properties of SB2 or new shorcut you created.
Then in the target area after all the other lines put this in
-mod Advanced_AI
For playing it ingame in regular crysis, just launch the mod in the mods tab at the main menu
"put it in the crysis/mods" thats the problem...I dont c any folder like dat...
then make one, you have to also make sure your running crysis 1.2, it only works with rysis 1.2

My small prob is I'm not a pc expert and I had trouble understanding the gamer lingo when followinging the install instructions of your mod. Could you plaese help me by explaining in idiot proof terms.

well if your not a sandbox guy, then just play the regular crysis with my mod. You have to have Crysis 1.2 or more. Launch Crysis and in the main menu there should be a tab that says mods. THen in there, it should say Advanced_AI, load it then the game will restart and start the mod, then just play.
There is no point in using sandbox if you dont even know what it is lol. So just play it in the regular game, as long as you launch it in the mods tab.

well first try if you can atleast launch and play the mod mate in the regular crysis. And if you dont know how to install the sandbox 2 editor or start it, then i suggest you read some tutorials on crymod.com ;)

I can launch the Advance AI mod in the game and play it, but the bad guys dont seem very AI. they start shooting each other or run off in opposit directions to me. Anyway, I have found the Sandbox2 on my disc, but it is missing an install file and will not work. Im downloading another, So I'll let you know how I go

The AI should be doing the complete opposite of what your saying mate. SO i dunno whats going on, everyone at crymod says it works BEAutifully, so i dont know what ur doing wrong. Maybe you didnt install patches mate, so idont know.

I installed the new version N the mod.
It shows in Mod option in the main menu "Advanced_AI"
I load it, but I dono how to start a new game.
lol when it loads and the game restarts, hit start new game lol. The mod works if when you save or hit a checkpoint, it will say Advanced_AI in the name of the save ;)

hi, I been schooling mydelf with SandBox2 and the Mod scene. I got it working just afer my last message. I like the way your guys come hunting for you in the game, it great. However just one Q. my game sttting is on hard. but I find I dont get killed as fast because my bad guys fumble a little before the big kill. Do I need to set it higher to Delta for them to be more ruthless?
yes, each diffuculty has certain variables. On like easy or normal, when your low on health, they AI's accuracy changes and becomes lower, sorta like a mercy timeout. One higher difficulties expecially delta, its practically gone, no more mercy or nothing :)
PS, I,m really into this Mod thing now and I was wondering If anyone had Mods for more blood and baddie damage or proximity grenades (i hate the way you cant stop the badies flanking you without turning around). If anyone can help, I'd be greatful. Ps, lov yr work rad15

Dude contact is the first level?? What are you talking about, the mod applies to AI, what did you expect?? The point is to play the singplayer again with the new advanced ai

Why doesn't one of you or rad15 just make a tutorial video of how to do it cause your instructions leave a lot missing i am confused personally of how to do it use it. I am trying to get these AI in sandbox mode on my own made map so they will be smart (instead of turning there backs to you)
But I don't no how to install this. Suggestion make a tutorial video using hypercam2 turn on sound and record the screen of everything you do to install it and post it on the page here. When approx is the next one coming out like a date example. Monday Nov 28 2009
