In this Single Player Mod, Gordon is back in a whole new story. In this episode you fight your way through a Combine Prison only to find yourself established into a secret Rebel force called The CryShield. This mod only contains one other mission after your fight through the prison. Its short but sweet. It's really fun! Please download it! It'll be worth the 5 months I put into it, I swear! Lol Begging here! Lol must ues at lease 500 characters, whats up with that? Now Available for Download!
It isn't the worst thing I've played, but it is pushing into unplayable.
The 'puzzles' and level design make no logical sense. It's hard to know where to go or why to go there (there is a point where you throw a grenade into a vent to unlock a door...what?) On top of that the combat is poorly tested and unfair, there are moments where dozens of combine will flood into a room with no cover, forcing you to use cheats just to get past many sections of the game. Also, the mod just suddenly ends? I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but the player is told to 'go to the basement' but after flying around that map doesn't continue and no others on in the map list so...that's nice.
Overall not worth downloading. Even if it works, it isn't any fun.
I remember the mod was very unstable before the Valve update in May 2010, I'm certain it's unplayable now.
This mod was boring, glitchy and uninspired.
Don't bother.
