I am having trouble starting it. I place it in the steam folder with CK2 under the mods tab, but it wont work. I will start it up and it will start perfectly fine with all the nice pictures and text at the bottom. But before the menu appears, an error screen closes the game. Idk if someone has a solution for this. If not just take it as a heads up before getting this
Dont put it in the Steam folder, into the documents folder.
Putting it into Document-folder it doesn't even start (just vanilla game without any mod)
I placed my mod in Doc>paradox>CK2
but it does the same loads up shows the pics and words but before it gets to the menu I get error message

SO is there anyway to make it so adding traits to a character in Ruler Designer doesn't age them?
you can just open your save and edit your age after you start the game, or look for a mod that does what you want. Google is your friend.
I had the most amazing start... Started as the Darkstar, married Nymeria Sand, daughter of the Red Viper (Prince Oberyn), gained 300 prestige, had BARRISTAN THE BOLD join my court (hello new man at arms!) and my liege gave me land for free (about to ursurp his title now)...
And now there was a patch and I bet my save won't be compatible... :-(
Hey, i'm having a problem. The game will open, do the loading screen... and then it crashes instantly. Anyone else have the same problem?

I'm having the same issue in that the game will get as far as the main menu.

this version does not work with the new CK2 patch out today, DUH!
I'm having problem with this mod. I dont's see any AGOT map/mission during in-game. But I ticked AGOT when I want to start the game in the launcher. Pls help!
Also when i hit Start CKII after having A Game of Thrones as the selected Mod it just opens into the usual CKII World with the historical starts and no saved games at all
Are you sure you've selected it? If yes, just try reinstalling, see if that works.
Did you rename the file in the mods folder? I renamed my "Game of Thrones" file into "Game of Thrones 0.4.3" and the same thing happened. Try and see if the file in your mod folder is really called "Game of Thrones".
Whenever I try to play the game, it always crashes and says, "Crusader Kings II has stopped working" this is a clean install, and updated all the way. Please help!

Dunno, but right now I guess I will play the normal Crusader Kings, but would been awesome to play this mod though :)

Downloaded this mod the day patch 1.10 came out. talk about timing.
Yeah, read on a forum that we need to wait for a patch, because they updated the game to 1.10 for the TOG expansion.
not even joking been up 2 days straight trying to get this mod to work then i realize the patch has not come up at least it will work in time just let us know when the mod patch comes out

Okay, so if you revert back to 1.09, the game will run, but it seems to be quite buggy and crashes pretty often. I suppose it's fine until the patch is released though.

I have found a work around to getting 0.4.3 to work for me.
Opt into the beta 1.09x, It is under properties and betas on CK2.
