The mod download can be found at www.swat-portal.com (while you visit this site you can register on the forum). Last night I had to make a decision about how to deal with a few problems. The decision was to cancel the upload to moddb for now and put the new updated version online. This will take a bit time. But you still can download the mod at the SWAT Portal.

Questions came up if this is the final version. I have to answer these questions with a "yes" and a "no".
During the past 2 years of development we had only 2 days where we could test this mod in on online environment. More time we simply didnt have and since you (the players) wanted the release ASAP the 2nd private Beta was canceled.
The Mod version you can download from the SWAT Portal is currently a public beta version which will get upgraded automatically to the full version bit by bit. So you dont have to download the full mod again but you should make sure that you received the patches which get submited via the launcher. Considering the size of this mod it currently works pretty good and the amount of reported bugs is not that high but there are a few problems which can destabilize the client with the result of a crash. To my knowledge from the 150 systems there are 3 systems which have this problem. We of course will use the next few weeks to fix them and correct the reported bugs.
When that is done a new (final) version of the mod will get uploaded to moddb and the SWAT Portal. The players which downloaded the current version do not need to re-download this new version since they should have received all neccessary patches via the Crossfire launcher already.
It is recommented that you let your game patch even if you just play the Singleplayer.

Bug reports can get submitted to the official Crossfire Forum. Support will only be given there. I will not give support here at moddb since it does not make much sence to deal with the same problems at two different locations. Dealing with such problems at the official forums appears to be more effective and I can spend more time working on the mod then.

I want to thank all players which supported us so far with the MOTY Awards. Keep voting. After so many years being under the TOP100 (the past 3-4 years) i think its time to receive an award (special award for long term top100 mod)

It's definitely a big mod @ 1gb plus. I haven't set it up yet but, am planning on doing it next week. If there is a newer version to be released soon, should I just wait to avoid any aggravation from crashes?

By the way, I'm the same as, Hunterkiller and I can't seem to log back onto your Swat forum? Did my account there get canned? That's the reason for the question above.

I seem to be looking at a different forum too, not the same as before???
