CrashDown is an action shooter mod for Half-Life 2 featuring an immersive storyline and planned out gameplay with applied theories of game design to add to the experience.
Playing around with fully destructible walls. This adds a whole new level of possibilities to game play. And it looks AWESOME in action.
make a video of it this is very cool
I was going to try something like that last night. Very cool though. Definitely make a video of it.
Don't tell me this is brush based (func_physbox)>__<
no doubt it's brush based, there are misaligned textures on the sides of the knocked down ones.
Also, fully destructable walls would make levels unplayable as it would make the engine have to do the math on hundreds and hundreds of physics objects, more than you can even compile for one map. So, you shouldn't do this, it's a horrible (yet cool) idea.
I concur, make a video of you blowing up the wall.
lots of entities, but awesome looking. Dont overdo this though. May i recommend having the Door beepers (like from Ep1) then the explosive blow the bricks toward the player, then the Combine rushing out shooting.
