Paying tribute to one of the finest shooters of all time, CSX is a CS 1.6 mod aiming to bring back the classic and evolve it to an entirely new level.
The blast from a HE grenade has been altered for realism. Those closest to the center of the blast will literally fly several feet in the air - sometimes the explosion won't kill you, but the force of it can. Any nearby weapons will also fly outwards due to the blast.
If you survived the blast, you'll also need to survive the after-burns. The explosion lights players on fire and the fire can be easily transferred to others through bodily contact. HE grenades also leave you with a nasty concussion effect, reddening your screen and causing acute hearing loss which slowly returns after a few seconds.
Side-note: All grenades have coloured trails of their trajectory when thrown. HE grenades in red, flashbangs in blue, and smoke grenades in green.
Also, as a Warcraft 3 DOTA player, I love the announcement of kill streaks. An announcer will call out to every player when a certain player reaches a number of consecutive kills in a row without dying. Can you become Godlike?
