This patch updates the mod to Version 2.1, which greatly improves the accuracy of many sounds, alongside some other sound changes and weapon retexturing.
Counter-Strike: A Mix of 3 Eras
Update 2.1 (30.07.2023)
Changelog:
1. Replaced some default Half-Life 2 physics sounds with higher quality reconstructions (water splash, doors etc.).
2. Replaced knife wall hit texture.
3. Made the playermodel ragdolls more realistic.
4. Improved the quality of the tire prop texture and Office coffee table.
5. Replaced viewmodel and worldmodel textures for Glock, smoke grenade and C4.
6. Slightly improved explosion effects.
7. Heavily improved accuracy of the weapon sounds (changed pitch in scripts to match CS:GO, removed sounds that are normally unused in CS:GO).
8. Updated the "Unable to buy weapon" sound effect.
9. Properly reimplemented the buymenu presets (with new sound for when you update them).
10. Improved accuracy of the physics sounds (added proper vent breaking sounds, updated flesh damage sounds to CS2 versions).
11. Replaced weapon pickup sounds with the proper CS:GO sounds.
12. Added normally unused CS:GO Bot game options resource file (has a boxier outline around the options, probably the same as in GoldSCR games).
13. Added CS2 fire damage sounds.
14. Updated the fonts used in the main in-game UI.
15. Added a black rectangle behind the round time counter in order to improve its visibility.
16. Improved main menu by adding scrolling fog to the backgrounds.
17. Recolored most of the weapon worldmodel textures so that they more closely match their viewmodels.
18. Added CS2 bot names.
19. Improved the reload sounds for the Mac10 and G3SG1.
How to install:
1. Download the archive, open it, then simply drag the contents of the "update" folder into your mod folder, replacing the original files.
