Conspiracy: To conspire against someone or something is all something we have done or will do

It is an act which takes intelligence, cunning and wit. Imagine if you will yourself or your alter-ego opening the front door to your apartment. You are a successful architect; you work on the construction site two blocks down Melany Street. You fling your jacket and watch it land on your couch, you approach the refrigerator for nourishment when you hear it.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

You look around frantically searching for the source of the sound. Nothing. You quickly run across the hall to your friend's apartment. He is a technician; he greets you sporting a smile and is guided to your apartment by your shaking hand. He looks around and after a minute of analytical murmurs and whispers to himself he pulls a small monitoring device from your plant. The only problem was that you didn't have a plant when you left this morning. You didn't leave the window open; you didn't knock over the vase. You look outside to see a man sitting on a bench with a newspaper. You look closer; two eyeholes stare back like a pair of icy needles.

Drop. Drop. Drop.

You sweat, you panic. You look at a tree across the street and you see a man in a suit staring at your friend's room with a pair of binoculars. As you run to tell one of your chums, the hacker what you've seen it's too late. He's already leaving by way of the roof, pistol in hand.

Silence.

The lights go off and doors crumble as men in suits enter with silenced weapons.

You feel two bullets lick your chest and you fall, you remain conscious just long enough to see your apartment burst into flames. The police sirens approach but they are too late. Your world flipped upside-down as soon as you opened your front door, as soon as you suspected there was a CONSPIRACY.
