In case anyone is wondering, the emplacements are premade, not buildable.

I like it as long as you don't have that annoying thing where one or two soldiers would stay outside of the emplacement without a heavy cover bonus.
Have you considered giving infantry a "stand ground" command which immobilizes them in place?

The HMG team has some pretty silly lookin' hats :P You should give them a thinner jacket instead of the original parkas they have on, would fit the desert environment better in my opinion.

The hats are Pith Helmets. And volks don't mix well with the ammo belts iirc.

Wow, amazing work there. However, I think you'd have to consider to remove those hats in favour to historical accuracy. They were only used in the first months of the campaign, as they proved to be uncomfortable and most of the troops prefered the helmet or the Feldmütze.

Not all soldiers will have them, only one or two per squad, it's still wip.

I disagree. While they were only in use during the beginning of the conflict, they are characteristic of the Afrika Korps and really make them stand out. Company of Heroes does a lot with their units that don't fit the timeline of WW2 as well, it's more about capturing the essence of the armies.

Well, afaik, Slayer managed to get a pretty nice lookin' Volks torso mixed with Gren legs & ammo belts as an MGer model, so it shouldn't be too hard to do? Also, a Feldmütze or two along with the pith & regular helmets would also be nice, if not too much to ask. Other than those minor remarks, it's looking really nice! :)
