The SAS at least used dual .50's as far as I know :P not sure about LRDG. Though it would be cool if the chevy truck would be bristling with weapons because the LRDG and SAS were quite overkill when it came to arming their jeeps xD like 3 or 4 Vickers K and a bren gun per jeep. I think that is overkill too...

The only LRDG chevys I've seen have Vickers, granted one of them did have a passenger seat .50.

That's more like it xD I really like the Lewis gun it would be nice if there was a CoH model for it. And maybe that bofors 40mm portee` at the back might be a good idea too :PP

No, Im asking for the Raiding Support Regiment. They where a totally seperate entity, a sister group to the LRDG, SAS & SBS. My Grandfather was a member. They mainly carried out tasks similar to the LRDG but more often than not co-operated closely with the Partisans, namely training them to use heavy guns such as captured Italian AA guns, old AT guns e.t.c due to their limited arsenal.

They where set up in Palestine in 1941/42, operated in North Africa & then ultimately in Yugoslavia & Italy in the later stages of the war.

In North Africa they operated along side the LRDG for a brief period, often wearing black & tan berets as a denotation of the various regiments they where drafted from.

Sturm.
