enjoyed original game in high resolution! at least you can try, I hope it will work for you)
tested on win10, i3 13100, 3060. The first version was made on an older video card (1050ti),
it didn’t work on the new ones, thanks to everyone who helped in the comments.
- supporting in game HD, good graphic; (briefing, and something else, in 640);
- support of directX 11;
- 21 original missions;
- some little change and fixes, gameplay is unaffected;
- full english and russian version;

everyone who has previously downloaded v1.1 and has a dark screen at startup, go to Commandos 2/DATA/ and open VAR.DAT using notepad or Notepad++, change 1400 to 1440, 1050 to 1080. Save and run the game
I have the same problem with the HD mod as many others. I get a windowed screen and it reveals the screen as you move the cursor. On my laptop (i5 4200h + GTX765m) it works like a charm. Same game copied over to my PC (i7 4790k + RTX3060Ti) it doesn't work. It worked before with the old GTX760 but the new GPU is giving this error. Vanilla version works fine. I have the GOG version.
how can I uninstall the mod?

Me not, only at first day when i install game and mod. Next day not work.

I install all via manual and when i try play game, at first run stuck at intro and nothing. At second run, game run in black window and after few seconds crash
sorry, for some reason, the my old GOG version starts fine)), I decided to redownload the game from gog, and it didn’t start from "Comm2.exe", the game starts through "Commandos 2 HD Project.exe"

check the installation paths, you need to put everything in the root folder with the replacement of all files,
so another solution to play game ? i try on W10 and only blink screen and nothing
yes, English version. After instal, 3rd run, game start, but i dont see intro, only audio. After intro game stuck, only restart pc help.
