Hi, I have a few questions out of pure curiosity more than anything, I like the game how it is currently mind you;
-Extremely minor thing, but on your mod page you mentioned the game takes elements from Tib Dawn all the way to Generals, yet you've omitted mentioning Tib 3, why? One of the major factions and many units being from that game.

-While it'd be a lot of work to implement all of the sprites and whatnot for yet another new faction to the style, I don't mind the empire's exclusion, however I find it odd that there's no references to RA3 at all. Why's that? Some of the naval units in particular could've been used for distinguishing the soviet and nod navies from each other (as well as allied and GDI factions)

-Understandable exclusion but I kind of wish one of the nod factions had an Avatar, maybe it's not their style, but it's such an iconic and cool unit.

Hello!

The ModDB page hasn't been updated in quite a long time, and is from a time when we had no C&C3; units (and no Scrin). Will update it soon.

I think the main reason for not including any RA3 units is that neither of us have played it much, so we don't have fond memories of it, and don't know the units beyond what we can find on a Wiki. Saying that, there is one unit from RA3 that I recently put on a list of potential things to add. Anything we add just needs to fill a gap (and sometimes gaps are deliberate as we don't want every faction to be equally good at everything), so if there's something that fits which happens to be from RA3, then we'll use it.

The Avatar would overlap a bit too much with the Cyborg Elite in terms of its role and stats. Battle Fortress aside, Allies and Nod both lack big heavy units like Mammoth Tanks and Tripods, which is one of our "deliberate gaps" to differentiate those factions. It's possible it'll make an appearance in the future, but probably not as a standard unit (maybe campaign only, or unlocked in some limited way).

Hi! Thanks for the answer, I was mostly curious about the RA3 stuff, so it's re-assuring that it's potentially a thing to be added.

I am quite enjoying the game so far, and I can leave feedback for the campaign stages (when I'm finished with them)

The plot of the new campaign confuses me. Whether Kane will have a truce with GDI on an alien planet and return to the world of Tiberium to jointly cure the green cancer on the earth, or whether NOD will really let humans purify Tiberium. To get away with being harmed by its radiation and use it efficiently, GDI for some reason is opposed to and steadfastly rejects all forms of Tiberium, even though they are completely beneficial.

Sounds more like you're just not sure what would happen next, rather than confused about what has happened so far?

There isn't currently a truce, GDI don't even know about the purification yet, and Kane's intentions aren't entirely clear. The nature of purified Tiberium is explained only by Kane, who may be an unreliable narrator.

As a long time C&C player / fan I celebrate the 1.0 (1.01) release.
It must be said, I think the spirte work it quite impressive.
The fact that the new sprites don't stick out and could be easily confused for vanilla ones it a true testament to you guy's work.

Well done!
