Kane's Wrath' story focuses on pivotal events after the Firestorm Crisis, before and during the Third Tiberium War, and its aftermath. The game introduces six new sub-factions formed from the original three factions, each featuring new and edited units and different play styles. The PC version introduced the Global Conquest mode.
