I'm tired of questions about the hand models... No there won't be any new soldier/kits models.
Take a look at your first image profile, how is the guy holding the gun? This is just to add variety to the mod as you can see further in the video there's a Beretta hold by both hands.
Vanilla BF2 hand models (or viewhands in cod terminology)look horrible by today's standards. I heavily dislike MW3 P99 animatinos (using only one hand). If you had read the description of that specific image you would have known it was just a test to test some stuff. If you could just change the new Beretta animations to look more like in the image i have on my profile i wouldn't be so butthurt lmao
TBH, this set of animations is fairly terrible, even for center relock standards, plus the angle makes it look like you'd be firing far off to the left.
First I have to say I'm not a fan of the new Beretta animations, the way the gun is held, shot, and even reloaded feels off and it doesn't help we can see the hand on the bottom left. (Though an FOV change would fix that.) Everything else looks pretty good which brings me to my question.
How do you plan on adding these new animations because I love the animations of the currently released state of the mod but at the same time I also love these ones? I know Battlefield 2 had a weapon progression system where you can unlock new weapons and select them on the loadout screen, is there a way to make it so the different animations can be selected the same way?
The new Beretta animations are only ones which I don't much like, but they are OK. It's not that they wouldn't be good, but I expect it to look different and more like a soldier not a gangster. It's absolutely not a problem if there are multiple animations, but I don't think that was possible in this mod.
Also, the hand models are just fine and if someone doesn't like it, they should use some other hand models. Either they will make it from scratch (which is not very common these days) or they will just port it from another mod or game (unfortunately).
Btw: Awesome work and welcome back! I hope that there will be some new stuff in the future.
@TheObscure Thank you, you will I'm not far from the Finnish.

While I understand the critics and the dislikes of the animation, this animation will only be in 1 class, preferably Sniper. It will just add variety to the mod, other than that all the rest stays the same and yes I can do multiple animations on 1 gun, it's really easy. One kit can have can have the same beretta animations but the reloads may differ. I'm still not sure how things will end up as I have to Finnish all the content in the mod. Once I do I will be posting updates and we can easily discuss (I'm open to ideas from people) what and how to do.
I don't dislike the animation, It just doesn't fit into the Battlefield series in my opinion. It could be used in a mod like Hardline (which is a game, but I consider it as a mod) because that's about the gangsters. Also, it will be probably used only in one class, then I see no problem.
Just showing off how every gun will have the Recoil and the animations updated. Now it feels like you're really shooting a weapon... (Would show it all but just bothersome, hoping to finnish combat with what I got.)
Will you be replacing the hand models?
Is the soldier wielding this Berretta a former gangster?
