Once again, you fail to listen to anyone with actual military experience. If you are holding on to the pistol grip and reloading with the non trigger finger hand (left hand) then why switch hands just to pull the charging handle back? It is unnecessary, and only people who have never been trained and play too much counter strike or watch bad TV movies think it looks great. Rack it back with the same hand you are reloading with. You put the palm toward your face and rack it back by slapping it as your hand is pulled back. Google it, there are tons of videos supporting people using this reload. Plus it should not only be easier to animate, but it reduces the reload time (another reason why it is taught that way). Your animators are skilled, just don't do it the wrong way.
He says it's not a realism mod, so I don't think he gives a ****.
And.. it is easier to animate this way, coz otherwise you have to use 2 different links on the same hand, more trouble.
Racking the charging handle with your firing hand isn't the "wrong" way, as you seem to imply, but rather not the way you were taught to do it. Get down off your high horse and quit demanding he animate your way.
Although i do like a game that is realistic (like arma2) i hate it when people say that the animations dont look realistic enough, i mean look at call of duty. from what i have heard if you reaload an M16/M4 like in COD you have a better chance of jaming it. now i havent played Counter strike in a while because my computer wont support it anymore, but from what i remember it was reloading it the ''correct way''
P.S there is no wrond way to reload a gun, as long as its the way that doesent break the gun or jam it as often
Dude shut the **** up, you have ZERO room to talk, this IS NOT realism, there for THERE IS NO NEED for "proper" animation, this is stylized, and seriously dude, you don't need a ******* "experience" serving to mod, you need MODDING experience, and look at the ****** games who had retired military experience on it *battlefield, call of duty* they were in terms a HUGE joke now.., long story short, you don't need "military experience" to animate a weapon in a game dude -_-.
Cool!
Finally, this goes so well with the animation. Default M4 reload, so overused haha :)
Wow, kudos to you guys for making such a cool model.
Too loud! Perfect otherwise.
The real M4 reload is alot louder than this, be pleased this isn't a realism mod.

But I like the bfbc2 reloads better too.
