During the Dagestan crisis in 2011, Specnaz used Western type of holographic scope on PKP Pecheneg and AKs. (I do understand that you made this for MEC)
Those arent western rails. Idk about spetsnaz using western optics there, from what ive seen they all had either irons or russian scopes. The US does have the best optics currently so you could see why other countries would use them. Like all of our allies...
And since when US scopes are better? I use PK-A Belarussian made scope on my airsoft AK-74. It does not need, obviously, no western rails or anything western at all and it is way more comfortable and reliable than ACOG's, HOLO aims and other collimators I used before.
looks good.
Yeah looks good, but a bit blocky. But that's maybe because It's so empty looking with no acog on it.
No acogs for the MEC, only Ruskie stuff
No Ruskie stuff? Then why western Picatinny rails?
We didn't have anything better at the time.
MEC still uses Picatinny rails though

You mean Picatinny rails which are design and made by Picatinny Arsenal USA? No Specnaz do use Western holographic scope.
