You woke up in an apartment high-rise building. You don't remember anything, even your name. You have deep cuts all over your body... you are bleeding heavily. On the floor and walls is lot of blood, obviously, not only yours. You need to find something to sew up the wounds, and then try to understand why this nightmare is going on...
The scene is excellent, except for a lack of typical bedroom props...ie nightstand, lamp, perhaps a shelf for books, also a ceiling fan would fit in here.
I understand you want to draw attention to the dead body but I think a few more props could make the scene feel less like a brand-new apartment that is being moved into for the first time.
Also, can you align your ceiling texture? The ceiling tile should be lined up against the walls, instead of stopping halfway through a tile.
maybe the lack of props is what he is going for, in a story perspective.
it looks like the boxes are there because the dude just moved in
"cl_drawhud 0" will help with demo-screenshots a bit :3
also, don't you using smoothing groups on brushes? because there seems to be some dark lines near that door on the left, witch shouldn't be there.
The ragdoll is hung sort of weird, sort of like its standing up and less like its dangling. Its prolly touching the bed, so you might want to suspend it a little higher.
You could fix/align that ceiling textur as well (doesn's look like a bedroom ceiling, does it?).
The bloom is great in this.
Always be careful when changing a lightbulb.
