Time to show more Ostheer goodies! This time we bring you our Panzer III tank.
The left one is the early version while the right one is the late version, both are the ausf. J version, only that one has the L/42 gun and the other the L/60 gun... although the ausf. J with L/60 won't be used for Ostheer though.
This is the version you get anytime you purchase or salvage a Panzer III unit.

Reward unit for Wehrmacht or PE?

Exactly, just wanted to show that it is possible to have the ausf. J with the longer gun because you won't see it in game so probably you would ignore it's existance... for modders you know ;). For the "upgun", we are going to use the ausf. L version.

No, Panzer III will be used only by Ostheer.
What a pity. The reward idea is not a bad idea to replace another Ostheer unit.
You can upgrade with commander or mg gunner?

Only with a commander. IIRC these tanks weren't equipped with MGs for the cupola.
Is the 37mm gun available? or all Panzer III were default in the 50mm gun, if so, why there are two different gun armed Panzer III, one looks like a 37mm/50mm with shorter barrel and one is definitely the 50mm long barrel gun with improve anti-tank capability, my guess the Panzer III is a Jack of All Trader, can do everything and suck at anything specialized without upgrades.
I assume the base Pz3 would be slightly better than the T70 gun wise, and with better armor. 2 upgrades, 50MM L/60 and 75MM L/24. 1st might be around PaK 38 strength(IRL, idk about the mod, and the 75mm will be like the PE Pz4. Armor skirts will probably increase side armor, or more armor against Bazooka,PIAT,etc.
