What would happen if in 1988, Soviet Leader Mikhail Gorbachev was assassinated? CNC Fallout is a total conversion mod for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars that postulates this very question.

Hi Henford is it possible if you replace ZSY-25 AA with 2K22M Tunguska M-1 And add BTR-80 to the game it will be much better.
Sins the Tunguska M-1 and BTR-80 wore build in 1986 before the assassinated of the Premier Mikhail.

Tunguska - Multi-Role
- 30mm Guns Land - Air
- Heat Seekers Missiles Air (Upgrade)
- Radar Increase Range Fire (Upgrade) - Reinforce Plating Increase Armor (Upgrade)

BTR-80 - Multi-Role - 7,62mm Dual Guns - Land - Tow Missile - Land - (Upgrade) - Reinforce Plating Increase Armor (Upgrade)

T-90 - Multi-Role - Reinforce Plating Increase Armor (Upgrade) - Optics Range Increase Range Fire (Upgrade)

The reason I didn't include Tunguska is because it is too similar to Pantsir - its successor.

The Brehznev was originally going to be the Shilka, but using 1960s tech in a modern day war didn't feel right.

Feb 28 2012 Anchor

why don't you give the Pantsir the ability to attack ground units it could do that in real life
(random suggestion)
I think the BMPT Terminator would be a much better choice then the BTR-80

In opinion of some Russian players of the USSR extremely there are no assault helicopters, and Death Hammer is practically useless. I understand, that the emphasis was made on iron power, but a variety what or, is not observed. Therefore there is an offer on addition in mod helicopters Mi-24, Мi-28 or Ка-50, Ка-52 whenever possible with replacement of a dirigible balloon.

Feb 28 2012 Anchor

Hind is already confirmed for v0.2.

Feb 28 2012 Anchor

IMHO Death Hammer is intended for antistructure purposes. And in Skirmish it is quite useful and fun. IDK in PvP matches thought.

Feb 28 2012 Anchor

Death Hammer was included as a fun unit for me. I love the Kirov and this is my tribute to the C&C series.

Kirov, Flame Turret, Radar Dome... see where I'm going?

If you can get a Death Hammer or two into an enemy base, you can waste it pretty quickly. Strategy is basically the same as the Kirov in RA2.

I thought we were talking about land vehicles
Henford have you ever consider adding in the BMPT terminator
(random suggestion) i hope you give the soviets some AT defense in the next version.
 i have a idea for a new artillery for the soviets check out the link below

Allen, Holy @#$^! That is one bad mother. The one on the right is a keeper. Everybody knows the more cannons the better. :D
This is commander Shepard and that is soon to be my favorite artillery
I couldn't resist ;)

This is based off the 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV witch is also based on the 2S19 MSTA-S. I had the same reaction when I saw this monster. A 152mm can can deal a lot of damage two can ruin some ones day but six is 152mm howitzers well make you shit your pants and cry for mommy. although I think it needs a bigger tank chassis for the six 152mm barrel turret because using the T72 chassis looks a little odd and it will probably tip over if it would to fire. using the T108 or a mammoth tank like chassis could work.
Oh and apparently the soviets have a laser tank :flame:

The T-90 is the more modern tank, same with the Pantsir.
Let me put it this way,

T-90 > T-72 So it get put in the mod.
Pantsir > Tunguska So it gets put in the mod.

Although I do enjoy using the Tunguska when I get the chance.

I`m almost satisfied with the mod. The addition of Hind for Soviets will be finalising touch for soviet faction.
By the way there are some problems thought - each faction should have garrison clearing methodics. For NATO - Phosphor shells upgrade for Paladin, For Soviets - Cyborg Reaper and for Australians IMHO it should be SAS Team Mustard Gas grenades upgrade. Australians also require some kind of effective AA unit - i`m suggest to add them Stinger infantry with AA Ambush capability(Stealthied when not firing and immobile). Also each faction`s infantary should recieve some kind of anticrush protection since vechicles(especially tanks) can easily crush AT infantry. NATO Plasma Chaingun infantry should get an light exoskeleton armour upgrade that increase survivability a bit and grant them uncrushability, Australian TOW infantry should be able to entrench themselfs, like Guardian GI from RA2:Yuri Revenge and Soviets should provide their Conscripts with Explosive packs upgrade that heavily damage any vechicle that tries to crush them.

Upgraded Redbacks are pretty effective...

Mar 2 2012 Anchor

I hope the Soviets get more base defenses in the next version specially because they really need a AT defense and just out of curiosity are you going to give the Soviets Tesla style weaponry or something

Allen1993 wrote: I hope the Soviets get more base defenses in the next version specially because they really need a AT defense and just out of curiosity are you going to give the Soviets Tesla style weaponry or something

I`m more like to see T-90 entrench capability then.

Mar 2 2012 Anchor

Just give the flame tower an upgrade to spew blue flames(black napalm upgrade in Zero Hour or purifying flames in Kane's Wrath) with increased range and damage.

Mar 3 2012 Anchor

I agree. (random suggestion) HEAP (High Explosive Armor Piercing) upgrade for the soviet T90 and T108 witch increase firepower and blast damage for main guns and AP round for soviet infantry and ZSU. oh and a repair vehicle for the soviets because they really need one

Oh the Russians have a laser tank the 1K17 (check out the link below)

77rus.smugmug.com

I found multiple pictures of this 1K17 laser tank from different source to. so the Russians really have a laser :flame:
Henford maybe you can add the 1K17 for the soviets :ninja: (what does the ninja smiley face even mean?)

A few upgrades here and there would be nice. Aussies already get a bunch of nifty upgrades for their vehicles so as Allen said, USSR could get shells with improved performance and probably also get improved engines so USSR vehicles can go fastah would be nice since they're sluggish. NATO could have nano armor for increased armor and slow self repair.

As for the laser tank, a laser powerful enough to cut through armor and infantry in an instant would need tremendous amount of power. The size of the tank can't house such a power source. Perhaps it's a laser designator or jammer to confuse multiple incoming missiles. That or *dun* *dun* *dun* *dun*... the Russians have invented the arc reactor then they would have a laser of death. 8)

Ah yes I can clearly remember back in the Zero Hour days when Gen. Pinpoint Townes saying, "Don't look at the light, General!". Good times good times.

good times, and i like your idea for the NATO. Aussies have a support power witch can repair vehicles so the soviets should get a repair vehicle and NATO can get nano armor that repairs over time. good idea Ripple.

Mar 4 2012 Anchor

I like the nano armor idea... it would be available as a general upgrade from the Assembly Plant.

Mar 7 2012 Anchor

Personally I like idea about addition soviet laser technologies. Eventually the NATO uses plasma technologies (let and not so it is wide, but nevertheless) so why to not give laser USSR? It can serve as good alternative already fairly to hackneyed subject Tesla of technologies (to time the problem with Soviet AT defense would dare). In quality upgrads for the Soviet tanks I offer to take Uranium Shells and Nuclear Reactors (increase firepower and speed accordingly)
