"Superweapons" and General's powers removed
why? because those powers are just "too-much" overpowered and take a lot of the "strategy" part of the game as you can just send some bombers and take out the enemies defenses\base, instead, you'll be able to build and control "support-units"(such as the AC-130, or the PLA's hackers)
- The "Superweapons" are being replaced by a unique building which will provide some tactical advantage on the battlefield.
- The "General's Powers" are being replaced by a "unit-unlocker" system, as you get points you can unlock new units, such as next-gen aircraft, next-gen tanks, heavy-MRLS, strike-planes, support units...
Graphical improvements
I'm currently experementing with a custom d3d8.dll provided at enbdev.com/ which give to the game effects such as Bloom, Shadows, Reflection and more...As you can see I'm creating a darkened environment:

FX\Particle effects are underway of selection, improvement and implementation.

Interesting choice taking out the generals powers and super weapons, but if I can build AC-130s I really don't mind
or maybe a fleet of Arleigh Burke-class destroyers ^^

Combat Engineers should have shotgun.
why?
Why? Pistols are weak and i never included the medics due to medics are not used for assaulting purposes.
Also, hackers should have pistols for self defence!
Let me see...a shotgun, concrete, tools....His bag would get I little bit heavy... :P
The engineer is not a assault unit, nor are the medics they will be a support unit which will help both Assault infantry, AT\AA infantry, vehicles...
I just used a mod, called modern combat for CoH, A combat engineer builds all-in-one buildings and he can be upgraded with shotgun or marksman rifle.
Also, engineers can be used as assault unit due to he has a satchel charge to destroy barricades, and any obstacles or demolition charges to demolish buildings.

when v2.0 will be released and whether there will be two versions, simple and sea units?
As soon as I finish the AI...and Naval warfare won't be included at this time...
snipers will shoot at tanks and cars?
Only against light armor.
