DMSS Catellina: Javelin-class BC (Rough Draft 1) image - Cliche Multiverse Project mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Diplomacy
I would be lying if I said this was a hobby, but my mind cannot stop wanting to make a mod for this wonderful game... This will be something of an ongoing project, starting with adding a single ship, then bringing it up to a whole race, followed by a second, and so on eventually (someday) becoming a full replacement mod based on something I've started long ago, the Cliche Multiverse.

- 1 Heavy Rail-Cannon (runs the length of the ship. Extreme range. Ability-activated)
Abilities:
- Rail Cannon (Fires Heavy Rail-Cannon, extreme range, moderate recharge)
- E.M.P. Missile Barrage (Stalls normal missile attacks to let loose the payload of Electro-Magnetic Pulse Missiles to all surrounding enemy ships and strike craft, disabling all temporarily and depleting shields)
- Polarize Hull* (Passive, increases armor, reduces energy-based damage received)
- A.I. Integration** (Integrates the Capital Ship's Artificial Intelligence into the system, passively increasing performance, and coordinated damage with other A.I. assisted ships and Drone Squadrons)
* - The DMO has not developed shield projection technology themselves, but they have developed a kin to shielding called polarized hull, which discharges a heavy portion of any kind of energy weapon used on the ship's hull, and adds a magnetic integrity to the hull, somewhat increasing it's resistance to physical damage.
** - A major part of the DMO and DMSF is the Artificial Intelligence cores installed on starbases, surface-bound bases, Capital ships, and few classes of frigates and cruisers. These A.I. can interface with other nearby A.I. systems, including those controlling the unmanned drones of drone squadrons, to increase their combat effectiveness and discovering of weak-points in their targets.
The Catellina is the first of her class, and the first starship developed in the DMSF. Captained personally by AaeRohn Causten, the DMO's founder and leader.
