It is *THE BEST* Clear Sky mod ever made, along with Stalker Complete for SoC. The game optimalization is great - the same settings in the unmodded CS caused the game to have a lot of hick-ups. With this mod - smooth gameplay. Great job!
Sweet. I am about to finish SoC:SMP, and was just looking to see what cool mods (the few that there are) are out for CS. This mod looks like a win for me :)

Hi when I try to start exe version my total commander freeze up. when I open computer and try to start up that exe in Win7 expl. my explorer freezes up ...
what the hell is going on here? the same with Complete2009 for stalker soc

I'm having a crippling problem with my Clear Sky game; installing and playing the Clear Sky Complete mod went fine, and after some time of playing I wanted to try third-person view, so I entered -psp in launch options, Steam. When I got in the game again, it was lagging like crazy, already at the title screen, and then it got worse when I loaded my savegame (3-4 fps). Although the lag, third-person worked, but I decided to turn it off, so I erased the -psp in launch options and started the game again, but the lag was still there, just as bad as before. I have tried uninstalling Clear Sky Complete, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Clear Sky game itself, I've defragged and whatnot but the lag remains. I don't experience this lag in any other game I have. I have no idea what to do, and I would really appreciate some help on this matter, I couldn't find any answers with Google either. I run Vista 32-bit, GeForce 8800 GT, Intel Quad-Core Q6600 CPU.
Right, so I installed Clear Sky complete - does not work. I disabled all other mods, still Clear Sky Complete causes the game to crash at 'synchronizing.' Any ideas?
Only 2 reasons:
- updated the game to 1.5.10
- start a new game
hey artistpavel im having problems installing it manually and automatically. I extracted it manually and put it in gamedata and i also tried the automatic one but i dont have sufficient privileges, error code 5. Is it not working manually because i already have a spawn menu in there and i merged the files?
oh wait nevermind, it was an error on my part but so far its great!
I have problems using the auto installer with steam, saying it can't find my installation of CS.
Wow I can't believe I didn't notice this release sooner!
Been playing for a few hours now (EVERYONE: START A NEW GAME) and I'm blown away. The experience in terms of graphics surpasses all I've ever seen since STALKER is the only game that really draws up GRITTY worlds, and the mod brought this to a whole new level, the new textures in particular.
The weather effects are very impressive (as if I expected otherwise ^^), as is the changes to the day-night cycle. After playing this for a while I just had to go to town and buy me a bottle of Stoli.
Two things irk me however, the first minor one being that bandages heal wounds a little too effectively. On all previous my playthroughs I've been short of bandages and medkits early in the game, now I have them in abundance.
Second thing I've noticed is that the sleeping bag safety gauge seems a bit wonky at times, detecting areas around stalkers (such as the fishing hamlet) and high towers as dangerous while it regarded sleeping right in the reeds in the middle of the night far from friendlies as perfectly safe. How is the danger level measured?
Have you thought about adding the realistic weapons mod from SoC Complete to this?

Hate that the .exe doesn't work as well for steam users. This should make it a bit easier on me.
Iv tried the both the automatic installer and just tried the manual installer, keep getting a crash right before you leave your desktop, i get a window by BugTrap saying it detected a crash, i have already launched the game before hand, like at the main menu, but never made a new game yet, i want to play bad because i just beat SoC, have all 3 STALKER games and I im itching for more russian wonderland, but im sick of the choppy style graphics, i mean they are not terrible, i just love the look of this mod, I have 4G of Ram and this laptop can run crysis great, so its not my specs if thats what anyone is thinkin, Processor is AMD A4-3300 with Radeon HD Graphics 1.90 GHz, 64bit.

i fixed it i had to move the game to the c:\ drive please do so if you are downloading so you don't have to do this lengthy process.

Can someone please tell me how to install this mod in Linux? Do I simply follow the same instructions, placing the "Gamedata" folder into the root directory for the game? That's a bit confusing, because currently (using steam) there's no GameData folder. So I'm curious to know how the program would recognize and start using this new folder that's been placed there.
