Well, since the author decided to remove my comment from the front page, I figured I should post a review instead.
At time of writing (April 25th, 2020) this "Mod" is not a retelling of the Half-Life story as it claims to be. It is literally a model pack that you can play HL2 with. Except it isn't even that since it causes a console error on a number of chapters, rendering them unplayable.
The story at this point is entirely unchanged, with multiple characters referring to the combine, as per the original script.
Whether or not they intend to add new maps and voice lines is a mystery at this point. but consider this has been released in "Early Access" four days ago and they are already planning a sequel, I'm not holding my breath.
As Critical Review. This Mod is Fantastic. I hope The Creators are Decompiling The Maps. Reanimating is Done Well. 10/10. Don't Let Haters Bring You Down. Stay Frosty
