The first thread is a set of guidelines for a competition to design the Utopian race. I've decided to do this for the following reasons:
I'm really struggling to come up with a look for the 'Utopian' race. As you'll see from the thread I do have some very definite guidelines for what I do want, so I'm not simply asking everyone else to do my work for me. But I know this is incredibly important in order to achieve true immersion into the CU universe, so I want it done well. The way I see it is- the better the discussion and the more ideas put across, the better the ultimate realisation of this concept.

In this thread you can post any ideas about what you think might work. I know all too well that there are hugely imaginative individuals out there who can't draw to save their life! If you're one of these people, or if you just have an opinion, you can post there to give some ideas to any artists who think they're up to creating a visualisation that fulfills the design specifications.

N.B. A deadline for this competition has not yet been announced, but that shouldn't stop absolutely anyone from starting early or just throwing some ideas around in the discussion thread.

The second thread is a public version of the CU Design Doc. In some ways it's a bit more detailed than your average Design Doc, in others it's very incomplete. We'd like your help to help us give as full an account as possible of the current design of this project.
