The goal for CiNEmatic mod for Quake II RTX game to bring much better RTX visuals(real-time ray tracing capabilities of graphics) with the same fps than original Quake II RTX. For example mod will be based on full "Turic" Q2 model pack with reshaded and prepared for RTX shaders by UHDk1ng. True Gold Shader on proper Chain gun or old school Railgun :-) Check ot some screenshots and videos. I am going to start with the Weapons for Quake II RTX that will make game look great and maybe later on some other part of the level design. This patch brings 24K polished rose gold railgun (UHDk1ng`s Edition) to Quake II RTX PC game while using ray tracing render. It is designed by UHDk1ng for 8K UHD, 16K UHD video resolution but works for 1080p and 4K UHD video resolution. How to install classic 24K rose gold Railgun(UHDk1ng`s version)?
Unzip the downloaded archive from this website(MODdb.com), read the readme.txt file and put baseq2 folder into original main folder of Quake II RTX installation. Overwrite if it will ask. Make sure to back up the baseq2 folder before copying this baseq2 folder - just in the case. Make sure ray tracing render is on such as RTX and not OpenGL.
I promise - it worth it and will make your D hard if you are a true Quake II fan.
