Chechen Conflict has been around for a while and now we are progressing very well!
The mappers have been working hard to crank out maps, some weapon models have been made/skinned, and RUDEGIRL has made some excellent Player Models. But, the problem is that we are in need of some Weapon and Player Animators.
For those of you who don't know, the Chechen War has been an ongoing struggle for the Russian Federation since 1994 when Chechnya declared independence from Russia. But, Russia didn't want that...
A war broke out in 1994 which resulted in the destruction of Grozny, the capital city. Once the Russian forces withdrew in 1996, Chechen Rebels had engaged in terrorist attacks in Russia by bombing apartment buildings which caused major casualties. The Russian Army then returned again in 1999 and have been there since.
This mod is to recreate that. Picture yourself engaging in modern-urban combat in the war-torn streets of Grozny...

Unfortuneatly this mod did have to end like Nuc said. However, it was fun while it lasted I must say being a member of the team. Most of us have now gone our separate ways and have even come across each other from time to time.
It was a good concept that I hope similar Chechnya scenarios from this mod will be simulated in my own mod.
