Cenodrome is a small standalone map made in the mold of the TWHL Tower maps. Put together by regulars at The Whole Half-Life site, TWHL Tower was a collaborative mapping project where each mapper constructed a small floor of the tower, and each floor was joined to others by a stairway. Cenodrome is the long lost sub-basement of that tower.

It was a fun series of tactical contests with a twist. That's about it.

Pros:
- Great, flawless mapping.
- Relatively original.
- Fun towards the end.

Cons:
- NPC fights are sometimes incredibly frustrating when some of them are on your side and you can't help them. Instead, you just have to Watch your ally bullsquids ignore their opponents and being killed in the most stupid way.
- Too many deaths you can't avoid without knowing the game. Sometimes ammo is dropped from the air (tripmines), sometimes it's a bomb the player is supposed to flee. I thought it was ammo and died. You get killed for not Killing the guard quickly enough, but how were you supposed to know that?
- Not enough autosaves.

* unique gameplay.
* the map looks great.
* you do a series of npc vs npc. testing until a twist happens.
* very short since this is a single map rather than a mod.
* takes about 10 minutes to complete.

I can kind of understand why it was cut from TWHL Tower but still could've at least made it in as a hazard course replacement.
