1. Создание учётной записи:
1a. Установите IRC-клиент «Pidgin»;
1b. После установки программа предложит создать учётную запись. В поле «Протокол» выберите «IRC» (без кавычек), в поле «Сервер» укажите «irc.freenode.net». В поле «Имя пользователя» и «Пароль» впишите данные своей учётной записи на freenode.net. Если вы не зарегистрированы на freenode.net, и если логин свободен, то он будет автоматически создан на время вашего прибывания в сети. В этом случае поле «Пароль» необходимо оставить пустым.
1c. Убедитесь что во вкладке «Дополнительно», в полях «Порт» и «Кодировки» указаны значения «6667» и «UTF-8». Заполните желаемым именем поле «Iden name».
2. Подключение к чату:
2a. В окне «Список собеседников» зайдите в «Собеседники» и выберите там пункт «Добавить чат...»;
2b. В поле «Канал» впишите «#RedAlert2RebornOnline» (без кавычек), поле «Пароль» - оставляем пустым. В поле «Псевдоним» укажите имя канала для отображения его у вас в
программе (например «Reborn Online»).
Так же рекомендуется активировать обе галочки в этом окне;
2c. Нажмите кнопку «Добавить».
3. Настройка автозагрузки программы при загрузке Windows:
3a. В окне «Список собеседников» зайдите в «Средства» и выберите там пункт «Модули»;
3b. Поставьте галочку напротив модуля «Параметры Pidgin для Windows»;
3c. Нажмите кнопку «Настроить модуль». В появившемся окне активируйте «Запускать Pidgi при загрузке Windows». Закройте окно.

1. Account creation:
1a. Install the «Pidgin» IRC-client;
1b. After installation, the program prompts you to create an account. In the «Protocol» select «IRC», in the «Server» enter «irc.freenode.net» (without the quotes). In the «Username» and «Password»
enter your account data from freenode.net. If you are not registered on freenode.net, and if selected login is free, it will be created for the duration of your stay in the network. In this case, the «Password» field should be left blank.
1c. Make sure that in the «Advanced» tab, the «Port» and «Encodings» fields are set to «6667» and «UTF-8». Fill in the desired name in the «Iden name».
2. Connection to the chat room:
2a. In the «Buddy List» window go to «Buddies» and select the «Add Chat...»;
2b. In the «Channel» enter «#RedAlert2RebornOnline» (without quotation marks), the «Password» -leaving empty. In the «Alias» enter the name of a channel thats will be displayed in your program (eg «Reborn Online»). Also recommended to activate the two checkboxes in this window;
2c. Click «Add» button.
3. Configure program autorun at the Windows startup:
3a. In the «Buddy List» window go to «Tools» and select the «Plugins»;
3b. Check the box next to «Windows Pidgin Options» plugin;
3c. Click «Configure Plugin». In appeared window, enable «Start Pidgin on Windows startup». Close the window.
