This is a mod of the CoJ: Bound in Blood Single Player. While Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is an excellent game, it isn't quite realistic enough. This mod was created to make the game, the weapons, and the gameplay more realistic. Below are a few highlights of the mod: Several custom fields of view to choose from. Now you will not have to use the very low default FOV. All variations of all of the weapons have now been added to the Story, for example the Classic Rifle with Sniper Scope can now be found and bought in many levels. Adjusted the single-action cocking speed, the character will now cock the revolver before every shot instead of firing almost semi-automatically. Many of the weapons are more realistic, such as the Lemat Revolver which now fires a shotgun shell instead of a rifle round. Many of the levels have been slightly modified and many weapons have been added to gun shops. To see everything changed, you can check the Readme or read the description here on ModDB.
This mod made me want to finally play CoJ:BiB thoroughly after a few stalled starts. This is a game changer - for the better. Completely worth it.
Fact that this mod improves game's (even by console standards) headache-inducing FoV is alone enough to recommend it. Remaining addition are just topping on the cake, making what is arguably finest western-themed FPS even better and more enjoyable.

Incredible Mod. I literally just created this account so I could say that. One of the most well thought out and executed mods I've ever used and God's honest truth, I wouldn,t have been able to play this game without it, it's what made the game enjoyable. Thank you, sir, for all of your hard work <3
Also, the field of view I use on my massive ultrawide was just the first option and it hit the sweet spot. I actually tried the 4th option initially but it was too much, the first one or maybe the second one works perfectly.

Downloaded, Installed and played...and, WOW it works!
No more stupid anachronism like winchesters in the Civil War (which makes level easier cuz old muskets take much longer to shoot and reload.
No more super fast reloading for all weapons...now it really looks like Old West Shootouts!
