I was wondering, you remember that realm 667 gun, the Karasawa? i think it would look pretty neat for BD, a plasma disk that bounches off walls and cut through opponents like a lightsaber through butter.
Or even something simple like proximity mines for BD, maybe as a item similar to a grenade or even a dedicated weapon to it.
Here's a Karasawa that I think works with BD. I didn't make it, of course.

Tested it out and it works pretty well, only issue is that it still has PB stuff, so it doesn't spawn along with the plasma gun, i gotta summon it by console.

if I could make a suggestion, I think that one (or two) more barrels should be add it to this Gatling shotgun so that it doesn't look too weird when firing. (again just a suggestion).

Is it likely you will create a version of this to work with Project Brutality, or as a stand-alone entity? I've always got far, far too much shotgun ammunition, and the triple-barrel minigun needs a counterpart for the shotgun-shells.

I probably won't, because I don't know ZScript and PB is constantly in development, so my addon would quickly become outdated. Someone might port it over one day, but definitely not me.

After doing some testing this is surprisingly more balanced than I imagined, it absolutely shreds everything but say goodbye to your shells; the Advanced Backpack mod works wonders with this.

Honestly, the fact that it eats through your Shotgun Shells so quickly is surprisingly good for balancing purposes, especially for an obvious meme mod. The Super Shotgun is one of the most useful weapons in the game, so being unable to use it at all is not a good situation to be in.
Makes this good for the big boss bois like the Cyberdemon or Spider Mastermind, and panic crowd control.
