Blood and Iron is a modification for Napoleonic wars set mainly between 1870 and 1880. The aim is to give the players a good representation of the era, balanced and fun game-play, immersive maps, and a generally good time. The third update is currently under development, and it will bring you lots of new possibilities and two new factions.
A quick preview of some of the new units that will be available in the newest faction "Imperial Japan". These are only some of the new units; Japan is a diverse faction that combines the elegance of tradition with modern ingenuity.
Many thanks to Phlpp from the Gekokujo mod for Warband for his wonderful props, weapons, and other contributions to Imperial Japan. There will be lots of epic new maps that will come out of his efforts!
