Dude, THANK YOU! All that time I spent ******* around to fix compatibility issues, reading all sorts of resources that were hit and miss, but now, Blood 2 FINALLY runs faultlessly and as it should be on Windows 10! Well done!
(I'll tell you a secret, I just installed patches on the game so that it at least starts)
Whatever the combination, you got it to work for me, because I tried to run both the Steam version and my original '98 CD-ROM version and it was just problem after problem. Still crashes with Extra Crispy 4.0, but that happens after 1 in 10 loads, so that's not too bad at all.

crashes at start up, dude. I get a black screen and then kicks me back to desktop. Doesn't play at all.
