Ever wondered why, in a game about destroying lots of stuff, most of your arsenal won't cause any damage to the environment? Ever wondered what shootouts with the EDF would be like if even simple firearms had an effect on buildings, walls, and other structures? This mod will answer your questions by offering dynamic firefights, intense battles and lots of debris. Basic firearms will finally be able to tear apart walls, towers, bridges and tunnels in a manner that is fun but not too exaggerated. The destruction is balanced and will make for a more dynamic, fast and fun experience.
This is the surprise update to my GeoTastic Guns mod that I made over 4 years ago. It now features destruction for turrets, snipers and the pistol (for real this time) and I also tweaked some of the values to make things a bit more balanced.
This was my all time favourite mod for RFG, I decided to install the ReMarStered edition and low and behold! An update for Geotastic, I hope it's compatible with it as well. :D
Have you considered uploading on FactionFiles btw? That's where most RFG mods are hosted and I'm sure they'd be ecstatic to see this underrated gem.
Did it work? Is this compatible with the remaster?
Someone made a compatibility patch over on Nexus so it works with that apparently, have yet to try it myself.
Can you update the mod to support remaster edition?
It works so well but fix it there is a bug where if you upgrade nanorifle ammo it will revert to 30 ammo only instead of the modded 250 you got when the first time you unlock Nano rifle with this mod.
might change the upgrade to 500 or something.
Also if you may there should be a version with drastically improved weapon damage to make combat more tactical.
