This mod also works with Company of Heroes and/or Tales of Valor. Opposing Fronts is not required! There are many features that I added, for example: - a much more realistic Weapon damage system - many new skins for infantry and tanks (and wrecks) also including many of my own made tank skins - many new units for all factions - modified and enlarged Commander Trees (now 16 Upgrades!) - new abilities - new sounds - recommended new maps included

It has about 20mm less frontal armor than the Ausf.E and will be cheaper... and as commieturtle mentioned a different turret.

I noticed that In game the frontal armour gets damaged even by fire from a American maxon 4x 50 cal.

The panzer III chassis had 6 road wheels. The IV had 8.

Actually, that is not entirely correct. The best way to distinguish Panzer III and Panzer IV is the number of road wheels (8 versus 6), not the return rollers. This is because the Ausf. J version of the Panzer IV actually had only 3 return rollers, so by that logic it would be a Panzer III. Just my $0.02 on the matter.

Yes, the Panzer Grey was mainly used during the Blitzkrieg but towards the end of the war some tanks were sent straight to the front as soon as they got out of the factory and as a result many broke down.

It would be great to have a fast cheap early game German light tank, like the Pz.III, with which to combat Stuarts, Daimlers, Chaffees, M8's and Allied heavy weapon halftracks, as well as early Shermans. I find that German halftracks and armored cars are way too easily taken out, or disabled by infantry and light artillery weapons and often lack proper armor piercing capability. The early Pz.IV's are effective against weapon crews and infantry, but are slow, vulnerable and not very effective against armored targets. For those who oppose the Pz.III's inclusion in late war mods, I would like to remind them that in the late war stages, the 20mm armed Luchs versions (Pz.II and III) were used in a reconnaissance role and 50mm armed N versions where attached to ALL heavy Tiger tank battalions.

My apologies... the Pz.III N version had the short barrelled 75mm gun and the 20mm Luchs was a Pz.II variant only. This would mean that the Pz.III N would have the same weapon characteristics as the Pz.IV D & E versions, but it would probably be faster and definitely better armored.
