Just finished reading Angel Exterminatus so I gotta say, I respect Perty and his boys more. Too bad they turned, or the Heresy would have never reached Terra.
I think he is a very tragic character who has been consumed by his own nightmares and fears. He grew up on a planet where there was a game of thrones and palace intrigues, and this is what broke him pretty much.
honestly, him being a DP makes little sense
even as a full blown traitor, he looked down upon daemon angron and even defeated him in open battle
