Bellum Imperii is an complete overhaul modification for M&B: Warband. It represents ancient Europe and parts of Africa and Asia during Marcus Aurelius reign of the Roman Empire.
A look on the Parthian Cavalry as it will be in 1.4! Equipment and faces might be still subject to change.
Looking Good, the Parthians killed Crassus !
While Crassus defeated Spartacus.Or at least he nearly did I think.i believe Spartacus was saved by his friends and they won their freedom and escaped.(As shown in the popular tv show) Then the Persians defeated the Parthians and the Greeks eventually united to defeat the Persian Empire.
Beware romans!! Nothing can stop the charge of a cataphract!
Google Lucullus' armenian campaign --- he butchered thousands of them with minimal losses on his side ;)
Google crassus' parthian campaign.. they humiliated and butchered thousands of romans with minimal losses ;)
yeah, never denied it... nevertheless, your statement is still false
Yeah sure. Bring your legions to the battlefield...and we will trample them down!
(buried)
Brings 900, 000 Spartans, forms up strong phalanxes and destroys your army of cataphracts.
Pikes beat cavalry all the way. Its not that simple like in Lotr when the Rohirrim trampled through the orcs and uruk hai so easily. Realistically, pikes beat cav and the Romans do have triarii, as well as tactics of beating cavalry. They may have lost once, but the Romans learn, at least the smart ones do. From what Ivanhoe has said, the Romans did not lose just because of that one defeat. Adding on to what he said, during the Armenian campaign of Lucullus, he managed to lead the Romans to victory against the Parthians(Cataphracts) included with minimal losses.
'You realize you are surrounded and before you can even breathe, my men stab you and kill you where you stand'
There.
Your statement is indeed false.
Now you are dead.
Your argument is invalid thorvaldo and you have been trampled beneath Spartan boots. All your cataphracts are dead. Rome has won the war with the help of the Spartans.
Wow looks perfect.
Yeah Parthians are cool but have you tried a predicted release date?
I'll give an estimated release date when its done and its not done. Patience lad!
Do you happen to be employed at Taleworlds? I'm noticing something of a pattern here...
Do you happen to be always impatience? I am also starting to see a pattern...
It just so happens that I am impatient, but it is your fault. You tempt me with the ambrosia-like beauty of your mod, and yet expect me not to crave it with all my heart? Such a request is simply unfair good sir!
Haha, I'm sorry lad! Its simply to draw interest to those who haven't checked the mod out yet! Give it a few weeks and you might be relieved! ;)
I'm certain that I won't be disappointed. You've given us incredible work thus far. While I hate to pry, have the Romans stats been altered? I recall the Romans being somewhat disadvantaged against their barbarian counterparts. I assume that the addition of working formations will act as a balance, but has anything else been done?
