This is the finished and final build. All detailed instructions are written below and in a .txt file. <-- YOU MUST READ IT. Enjoy the short experience and happy quarantine!
HINT: YOUR OBJECTIVE IS TO EXIT THE ROOM THROUGH THE DOOR BEHIND YOU UPON SPAWNING. THERE IS A KEYCARD ON THE ROOFTOPS THAT UNLOCKS IT.
Weapons and ammo are scattered around the map. Figure out how to get to them as they are intentionally out of reach. Crouch + Jump your way into spaces.
READ!:
1. Drag & drop "valve" folder into your half-life installation directory
2. If anyting pops up, click "yes"
3. Launch your game and wait for it to get to the main menu
4. Press ~ key on your keyboard (below esc)
5. A console should pop up, type in "map myroom3" (no quotes)
6. Enjoy!

ABOUT:
The room that you start in WAS literally my room.
The map took 4 days to make. It started out as a learning
experience and hype for the new upcoming game, Half-Life: Alyx.
You can view different versions of my map in "Extras".
Just do the same process as shown up above.
Also I'm leaving the .rmf files in "Extras" in case anyone
wants to improve my map.
Scrapped ideas:
1. Past the sentry gun, there was once a fire escape door
that leads you into a room that rotates. The flying aliens
would try to stop you from getting to the end of that room.
(the real ending ^)
The problem was, the aliens' collision boxes were too big
that it stops the room from rotating.
2. The table holding the security card also held satchel charges
that you could use to blow up the floor below you and get back
into the room instantly.
The problem was, the floor was glitched and is somehow connected
to the walls of the room. So if you were to blow it up, most
of the room disappears. Too late to repair.
3. Instead of the barrels with medkit, there was once a
gauss cannon with trip mines around it to keep you out of
reach.
The problem was, the trip mines won't appear. And, the
gauss cannon doesn't work like it would in multiplayer
(it's supposed to launch you if you charged it enough and
shot the ground).
4. The floors would fake its reflection. And there was once a
secret vent in the wardrobe that allows you to get under the
floors and get into the fake reflection area (basically there
was another room below you but upside down. And, floors were
transparent to pull off a reflecting look).
The problem is, it is an after thought. Meaning, doing it
now takes longer cuz it's buggy :P

If you looked into my .wad file, you'd find some interesting
textures. Yes, it was supposed to be horror themed. All
textures in that wad were created by me.
