GRID2 BayetasMod PC - Immersion Mod
BayetasMod is a complete overhaul of GRID2 aimed at providing a realistic and immersive racing experience.
BayetasMod features:
- New physics and car settings/handling for higher realism.
- 12 new Immersive Camera Views + Replay cameras.
- Improved lighting and visuals rendering. Lots of changes both in locations and cameras settings for a more realistic look. Softer lens flares, adjusted colour balance, tonemap, DoF, motion blur, distortion, bloom, dust, streaks, etc.
- Optimized HQ Settings for top visuals quality and performance.
- Improved ForceFeedback. (You may need to recalibrate your ingame FFB strengths balance using it, but this FFB is MUCH more realistic if you drive using a wheel)
- TrackIR support. Works too during Flashbacks and in realtime during Replays. There is a special camera support in Cameras 2 and 3 (Extreme Immersive strength 1-2) that allows to use a control to turn the head back smoothly while using TrackIR all the time to look backwards.
- No Engineer speech during the race.
- Realistic used tyres textures.
- No Intro logo videos
- No stickers

Hello somehow i made it work but the sponsors stikcers are not showing is there a way to make them show on the cars ?
i think i remember the description saying "no stickers" so that's pretty much why
Well deleting the cars folder from the mod will bring back the sponsors/stickers, i don't know if that's a smart move but i tested and it works. Any way i love the mod it makes the cars more aggressive :)

Excuse me can I play it with a no steam version of the game? I followed the instructions but when I launch the game I have this message: Unable to open the mod configuration file"
Wanted this mod to work for me but sadly the needed install detail was not provided..spent a lot of time swapping and copying files into Grid 2 directory to only get it all half working..still trying. Oh ya..I got triple screens and the video keeps getting to stretched for selecting menus and of course playing. So does this mod work with Triple Monitors or not. Thanks
All right, so I really love this mod but I've encountered some problems that I managed to fix when using this mod, I feel like this can be helpful for some people out there.
Here's the list of problem - fix that I did :
- "Unable to open the mod configuration file" error. FIX >> Make sure both mod path in shortcut and inside the Bayetasmods/mods.xml are correct. Do not use quote mark when adding the mod path to Grid2_avx.exe (NOT Grid2.exe) shortcut target. Sadly, the .pdf instruction file show it using the quote mark and it is very misleading.
- Start Grid 2 using the BayetasMod mod path, but it doesn't start the mod, instead it start the original game. FIX >> Update the game, you can only run mods after the community patch.
- Grid 2 BayetasMod don't load savegame that is played using the original game. NO FIX! It is intended to be like that. Original and modded version will have different savegames.
- Grid 2 can't save session through autosave or manual save again. FIX >> This is happen because you replace the a restricted file inside your Grid 2. If a restricted file is changed, Grid 2 will automatically disable autosave and saving feature until the original file is restored. To avoid this, try not to replace any files in Grid 2 installation folder with the files/folder in "GRID2_BayetasMod_0.8\Features" except for some files that is instructed in the .pdf mod manual.
- Game crashed on loading screen after selecting single player mode or right before a race session. FIX >> Try delete the 'Audio' folder inside the BayetasMod folder. If not work, it could be an issue with Grid 2 and DX11 compatibility, simply google it for more info.
*Please note that this only tested on my laptop, Windows 8.1 - i7-2670QM 2.20GHz and GT 540M, but hopefully it could work with you too.
