Rating this 9 just because I save 10 for masterpieces like Madhouse 3.
This is a highly detailed mod with excellent design and atmosphere.
I've played the workshop version from Steam, took me around 3 hours to complete and I enjoyed it a lot.
Even though I hate mods with no lantern, the amount of light was usually balanced.
Sadly, I feel that it needs to be said that the fact that this is another remaster/definitive edition with completely rewritten story made a serious mess in Sabatu's mods and it's hard to connect all the pieces together, especially since I remember some of the maps from a different mod or version.
I also think it was unecessary to remove Czech texts and voice acting because for me they were a part of the atmosphere.

Probably the third time I'm reviewing this, so I'll keep it brief.
Undoubtedly the best version yet. Voice acting quality went up considerably, and the game breaking bug for me was FINALLY FIXED. Strangely enough, the lack of manual light sources didn't bother me at all, which speaks for the entertainment factor.
This alone would suffice to raise my previous 9 rating to 10. However some design and gameplay changes were also introduced once again for the better. Now this is truly something to be mentioned on the same page with Baxter episode 1, even tho mentioned chapter is still of even higher quality. Author even fixed some things based on my beta test, to even further improve it.
