whoops. no matter what i try it seems i can't make it work. i hae the steam version, so i unzip the mod to the mods folder just like the every other mod. then i set a launch option but it just opens the vanilla. it works with other mods, but not with this one. damit :/

Did you make sure that you are putting the internal BSGWC file in the steam directory rather than the whole thing?
Also that you are putting BSGWC rather than BSG in the modpath?
That's the only two things I can think of that would cause it to start vanilla

i figured it out. i disregarded the first folder and copy pasted it again. it's okay now

gotta say, i know it's a WiP and will have many more features but damn, it was awesome. so much more fun than i expected.

dunno if it's the right place for questions but here you go:
i didn't play gc on the maps you created but on the 55 planet equal footing. arvak class(with the ecm and stuff. interdictor) comes at tech 2(or 3?) with mark 7's.
is this what you intended in the first place or is it about me? shouldn't it be at a higher tech level? i'm throwing mark 7's on cylon war era toasters, they don't stand a chance.

support ships are all awesome i especially liked the lynx(?) class at the beginning with that huge supplement of fighters. but are you planning to add more battlestars? old school, bulky ones? They don't have to be game changers, maybe more of a patrolstar kind?

and lastly, what's with the nuke loaded raptor? it just makes a different gun noise and no missile. is it a wip or glitching on my computer?

thanks again mate. wonderful experience so far. now going out to find me some lapras'. i'll continue to play the **** out of it tho. wonderful work.

Questions are welcome anywhere but I'd recommend putting them on the main page or on the download links as I'm more likely to spot comments there.
There's a fair bit of work to be done to balance everything which is why there's still stuff like early access to the Arvak, that should be fixed by the next release.
The nuke raptor is a headache of mine. It was set up with the idea that, like the missile cruiser, it switches to nukes (less powerful than normal ones) so that you can launch a salvo of nukes at enemy ships, Daybreak part 2 style. For reasons I haven't been able to work out it has since stopped working.
I'm currently waiting on several new Battlestar models from Thomas39120, creator of the Arvak model with turrets... I don't have any control over what he makes though so I can't say what they're gonna be...
