Battleground 44 is inspired by and aims to be a modern HD reimagining of the 2002 classic PC game BF1942. The mod will feature more classes than the original game had, and will also aim to do away with unrealistic historically incorrect equipment. No longer will British use American weapons and vehicles. Japanese will also no longer be stuck to using German equipment and weapons. All factions will be using historically authentic equipment, weapons and vehicles.

Hmmm... This Sherman doesn't look right, I don't think the 76mm Shermans ever had that kind of turret and the gun appears too long.

I know, but the model came labeled this but we planned to change it out later when we get a better turret for it. We do want the M4A3E8 eventually also.

Nice! Though it looks like a hybrid between the Tiger II's gun and the Sherman's base.

Description

The M4 Sherman, officially Medium Tank, M4, was the most widely used medium tank by the United States and Western Allies in World War II. The M4 Sherman proved to be reliable, relatively cheap to produce, and available in great numbers. Thousands were distributed through the Lend-Lease program to the British Commonwealth and Soviet Union. The tank was named by the British for the American Civil War general William Tecumseh Sherman.

Here we have the later war variant of the Sherman called the M4A3 with the 76mm turret.

Panther 223 exported the tank and General_Bradly further tweaked it adding 3D tank sights to it as well as other nice tweaks and adjustments.
