Yes, it's awful, it sucks and I hate it. It's illogical, improbable and stupid. It's as stupid as inventing a solar powered flashlight. xD
To be fair I don't see that it's any less probable than someone shooting lightning out of their fingers...

Darksaber is similar, yet different kind of weapon than lightsaber, and I like it.
