ain't this just like the railgun?
Doesn't a rail gun run off of a plasma type source? A gauss runs off of electricity? Did not re-think my response, but question still stands.
A Gauss gun (coilgun) uses coils that activate in sequence to accelerate a magnetic projectile while a railgun electrically charges a round and sends it through a heavy magnetic field.
The M2020 is actually a sort of hybrid because it has coils and two massive electromagnets.
I suppose it works like Fallout 2 M72 Gauss Rifle? If it is, it will be very cool. And, curious, what alternative firing mode it has?

outdated comments but who knows when someone will answer my comments here,where i can find some of these weapons for download? i think i downloaded all the BW packs avaiable in runestorm site and some of these weapons i have not seen inside the packs i downloaded its still not avaiable or what? its damn cool i hope see someday these weapons in a pack.
